Nestled in the heart of the stunning Lake District, the Victorian House Hotel in Grasmere became our perfect haven for a romantic escape. The moment we arrived, we were warmly greeted by the lovely staff, including Adaria and Jesse, who made us feel right at home. Our dog-friendly room was brilliantly designed, combining vintage charm with modern comforts-a true reflection of the area's character. Every morning, we indulged in a spectacular breakfast served in the beautifully designed conservatory, complete with views of the garden. The cooked breakfast was exceptional, complemented by fresh pastries and aromatic coffee that rivaled the best cafés in Cumbria. A delightful bonus was the complimentary homemade cake that awaited us after a day exploring the breathtaking surroundings. The hotel's location is ideal for a range of scenic walks, including the popular two-hour trek to Easedale Tarn, making it a great spot for outdoor enthusiasts like us. The relaxed atmosphere and thoughtful details truly captured the essence of a quaint, charming stay. We left with hearts full and dreams of returning soon to this enchanted place!
